Aaron Zeilinger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and a Masters of Music in Instrumental Conducting. He is the current Director of Instrumental Music at Orange Lutheran High School in Orange County. He has worked with various youth groups in both the private and public sectors over the past 14 years, and has conducted or coached a wide variety of ensembles including wind ensembles, symphonic bands, symphony orchestras, handbell choirs, drum and bugle corps and marching bands. He has also performed across the United States, as well as other many countries worldwide. Some of his most noteworthy performances were at the Opening Ceremony for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, the Sydney Opera House and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. 

Aaron is an alumni of Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps, helping found it in 1998 and marching complete seasons 2001 – 2003 when he aged out.​


Associate Director of Staff

Nicole Zeilinger is an actively performing semi-professional musician in Los Angeles and Orange County. She has a B.A. in Music Education from Azusa Pacific University, and has enjoyed a management career in the music business. Currently she is the manager of Bertrand’s Music in Mission Viejo, one of Yamaha’s few Shokunin dealers in the nation. Nicole has performed both nationally and internationally, with notable artists such as John Williams, Gustavo Dudamel, Hila Plitmann, Sangeeta Kaur, and Morten Lauridsen. Nicole has been heavily involved in many educational organizations, both as a teacher and as a part of the admin/management team.


Associate Director of Facilities

Leslie Grkinich has a B.A. Communication Studies with a minor in Music from California State University, Long Beach. She supports and works with performing arts groups from all over the world and where she specializes in maintaining percussion, musical equipment, and their brand deals. Despite being a saxophonist, she learned the mellophone to perform with Impulse in 2011 and 2012 and has been in love with it ever since.
