Yamaha’s prestigious 40 under 40 music teachers for 2020
Every year Yamaha Corporation USA awards 40 music eaducator under 40 who demonstrate creativity, action, courage, and program growth. This prestigious award had 450 applicants for 2020 with high level teachers being nominated from across the country.
This year our very own Corps Director Aaron Zeilinger was notified that he was not only nominated, but selected for Yamaha’s 40 under 40 out of the 450 nominations.
In his own words “I am so incredibly humbled that so many people jumped in and nominated me. As many of you know I get super awkward at this kind of recognition. I am still wrapping my head around it as I am truly stunned so many of my students and colleagues nominated me.
Thank you to everyone that nominated me. I will cherish this award dearly as I pursue excellence in teaching, leadership and fostering growth among the students I have the privilege of working with.”
